NS2PC: Firefighting and rescue drills
Comply with the National Fire Prevention Day on 04/10, on 29/09/2023, NS2PC coordinated with the Firefighting and Rescue Police Department – Thanh Hoa public security to organize firefighting and rescue drills at Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant.
Firefighting and rescue activities are always the top priority of NS2PC. Rehearsals are regularly activity of NS2PC with the support of Firefighting and Rescue Police Department – Thanh Hoa public security to raise awareness and skills for employees of NS2PC and subcontractors.
The scenario in this drill: Due to a short circuit in the air conditioner, office equipment caught fire, NS2PC's Fire Fighting Force immediately discovered and used on-site means to control the fire, officers and employees escaped from the fire promptly. However, due to the rapid spread of the fire, 4 people were trapped. With their professional skills, the firefighting Team rescued 4 victims and extinguished the fire effectively.
Evaluating the drill, Mr. Le Van Hoa, Deputy Head of the Police Department, appreciated the good coordination between the NS2PC Firefighting Team and Firefighting and Rescue Police Department – Thanh Hoa public security, so that this drill took place according to the original plan. Firefighting and Rescue Police Department – Thanh Hoa public security will continue to support NS2PC to improve their fire protection skills, and always proactively handle all unexpected situations.
