NS2PC: Joining Hands to Make Ha Bac Village Cleaner

Nghi Son, May 12, 2026: Ha Bac village held a community clean-up ceremony in response to World Environment Day on June 5. On this occasion, NS2PC donated 310 waste bins to 310 households in Ha Bac village and Hai Ha Kindergarten, helping create better conditions for environmental protection at households and within the residential community.

Participants in the clean-up event included representatives of the leadership of Nghi Son Ward; leaders and residents of Ha Bac village; leaders and members of local associations, including the Veterans’ Association, Farmers’ Association, Women’s Union, and Elderly Association; the Youth Union; teachers and children of Hai Ha Kindergarten; Ngoc Ly Store; and Nghi Son 2 Power Limited Liability Company (NS2PC).

Savidge, Executive Vice President of NS2PC and Plant General Manager of Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant, at the ceremony.

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nghi Son Ward, on behalf of the ward leadership, expressed his thanks and appreciation for NS2PC’s support over the past time, including very practical activities such as today’s event. “As a business, NS2PC’s support is the most meaningful, regular, continuous, and persistent. NS2PC has stood side by side with our people from the very beginning; to date, NS2PC’s total support for the ward has reached VND 30 billion,” he emphasized.

Mr. Mai Hung Thao, Secretary of Ha Bac Party Committee, on behalf of the households, thanked the ward leadership for their attention, support, and connection with NS2PC, enabling the company to provide practical support both today and in the past. “Previous support from NS2PC, such as the clean water pipeline system, renovation of the cultural house, public toilets, televisions, and other items, has been appreciated by local residents and used properly and effectively,” he added.
