Mr. Wajima Takuo, NS2PC: “Cleaning up trash - We are beautifying ourselves”

“Cleaning up trash - We are beautifying ourselves” quoted from the speech of Mr. Wajima Takuo, Operation Deputy Director of  Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant at the Launching ceremony of “Making Hai Thuong Ward cleaner” in response to World Environment Day 2025 organized by Hai Thuong Ward People's Committee on May 31, 2025, with the joining hands of the Nghi Son Border Guard Command; Association of the Elderly, Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Ward Police, Youth Union, Primary School, Kindergarten and the people of 9 villages of Hai Thuong Ward; MIZA Company, Ngoc Ly Bookstore and NS2PC.

“I am honored to join hands with you to clean up the place where we live, this simple act has a strong positive impact on the whole community, because each person, each family, each residential area cleans up the waste, the whole community, the country and the whole world will be clean.

Protecting the environment is not only the work of individuals and groups but also the responsibility of the whole community, that is why we are here today to join hands and contribute to making the place where we live cleaner and more beautiful,” emphasized Mr. Wajima Takuo.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Sau, Vice Chairman of Hai Thuong Ward People's Committee, thanked the agencies and units located in the area for joining hands and contributing with the ward's officials and people to make "Hai Thuong Ward cleaner. “Your participation will spread and strongly change the awareness and behaviors of each individual and collectives about the responsibility to protect the environment where we live, because we only have one earth,” Mrs. Sau emphasized.

On this occasion, NS2PC supported Hai Thuong ward with 278 trash bins and 9 garbage collecting vehicles so that households and residential areas have better conditions for daily waste collection. Previously, on May 24, 2025, NS2PC participated in the general cleaning of Hai Ha beach and donated 350 trash bins and 5 garbage trucks to Hai Ha commune.
