NS2PC CEO: Picking up trash - local action, global thinking

“Joining hands to pick up trash to make Hai Ha commune cleaner is a local action, global thinking” quoted from the speech of Mr. Choi Chung Kook, President, cum Chief of Executive Officer of NS2PC at the Launching Ceremony in response to World Environment Day on June 5, 2025 “Joining hands to make Hai Ha commune cleaner” organized by Hai Ha Commune People's Committee on May 24, 2025, with the participation of organization, companies located in the area such as: Border Guard Command of Nghi Son Port, Fleet 2 - Thanh Hoa Border Guard; Hai Ha Kindergarten, Primary School, Hai Ha Secondary School, Hai Ha Commune Health Station; NS2PC, Oldendorff, Nghi Son Environmental Company….

Speaking at the Launching Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngo, Chairman of Hai Ha Commune People's Committee thanked individuals organization and companies for joining hands to make Hai Ha commune cleaner. He called on officials and people in the commune to be responsible for disposing of garbage in the right place, collecting garbage every day, not just on this occasion. "Your presence, especially the leaders of NS2PC from Japan, Korea, the United States, France... has written a meaningful story, a good lesson for me personally and the local people about responsibility, dealing with garbage around us to protect our own living environment." He emphasized.

“Environmental protection is a long process, not just for one person, but for each individual, community, nation and the world, that is why we bring our children to participate in this meaningful cleaning program. This is a real school, a good opportunity for children to learn lessons from you, from personal responsibility towards the community - our common home. I believe that the children will learn many useful lessons, continue to write good stories about personal responsibility towards their own community” Mr. Choi Chung Kook shared.

On this occasion, NS2PC donated 350 trash bins to households, and 5 garbage collecting vehicles to Hai Ha commune so that people have better conditions in collecting waste from their families and residential areas! Over the years, NS2PC has supported 3,521 trash bins, 50 garbage trucks, 1 specialized street watering truck for Hai Ha commune, Hai Thuong ward and the Environmental Center - Nghi Son Economic Zone.
