Bac Hai villagers Joyfully Welcomes Clean Water to Homes

Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa, January 15, 2025: NS2PC officially handed over a clean water pipeline system to 320 households of Bac Hai Neighborhood, Nghi Son Ward, for local management and use.

Unable to hide his joy as clean water finally reached his home, Mr. Nguyen Viet Noi shared: “Not only my family, but all households are delighted now that clean water has been connected directly to our kitchens. This is something our family has long expected for.”

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Michael W. Savidge, Executive Vice President of NS2PC and Plant General Manager of Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant, stated: “Clean water is a basic human necessity. Everyone, everywhere, at all times needs clean water. That is why over the past years, NS2PC has made continuous efforts to supply clean water to 4,011 households in Nghi Son Ward, in return for the smiles of local officials and residents.”

He emphasized that this achievement is the result of responsible cooperation among all stakeholders, including local authorities, residents, Binh Minh Clean Water Plant, and NS2PC, aimed at turning the ‘dreams of the people’ into ‘smiles’ of happiness.

The joint efforts have further strengthened the relationship of being “Trusted Partners and Responsible Neighbors,” thereby bringing even more joy to local residents through “our responsible collaboration,” he added.

Mr. Cao Luong Ngoc, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nghi Son Ward, acknowledged and highly appreciated the practical support provided by NS2PC through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which has made significant contributions to local socio-economic development and environmental protection.

On this occasion, he kindly requested that NS2PC continue implementing social welfare projects in the ward, including the installation of clean water pipelines for the remaining households in Bac Hai village as well as other neighborhoods belonging to the former Nghi Son Commune, which have now been merged into Nghi Son Ward.
