EVP/PGM of NS2PC: Cultural house – a place that connects village relationship and neighborliness
“What impressed me during my time working in Vietnam: Every village has a cultural house, a place to connect village relationship and neighborliness, and preserve village culture. That's why Vietnamese culture is so diverse. I really like to explore regional culture in Vietnam", Mr. Michael W. Savidge, EVP of NS2PC, Plant General Manager of Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant shared at the handover ceremony of the Cultural House of Ha Trung village, Hai Ha commune contributed by the government, people of Ha Trung and NS2PC, on March 28, 2024.

Over the years, NS2PC has supported the renovation of cultural houses and invested in equipment to help each cultural house become not only a meeting and singing place but also a sports center of village.
“Today, I am very honored to attend the inauguration and handover ceremony of this beautiful Cultural House. Looking at the eyes and smiles of the men and women at this ceremony with happiness, which made us happier. I hope that, with the closed cooperation of all parties, the quality of life in the community will increasingly improve", Mr. Michael W. Savidge emphasized.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hau, a Secretary of Hai Ha Commune Party Committee, on behalf of the leaders and people, acknowledged and appreciated the support of NS2PC in recent times to promote the socio-economic development and environmental protection in Hai Ha commune, "NS2PC always shows itself to be a good friend, reliable partner, and responsible neighbor of local people", Mr. Hau emphasized.

On this occasion, he asked the Ha Trung Village Management Board to be responsible for managing and using the cultural house for the right purpose, effectively and sustainably. This is also a responsibility with the contributions of the people, authority and companies.
